Brackets released for state tournament
The brackets have been released for this week’s slow pitch softball tournaments in Oklahoma City at the Hall of Fame Stadium.
LeFlore County is represented by Pocola in Class 4A and Whitesboro in Class B.
Pocola plays 1 p.m. Tuesday against Hinton. The Lady Indians are 32-5 and ranked second in their class. Hinton is 19-15 and not ranked.
Whitesboro takes on Caney in the Class B Tournament 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Whitesboro is 24-7 and ranked seventh. Caney is 29-2 and ranked second.
